United Capital Director Purchases 3,900 Shares in Insider Deal

United Capital Plc has disclosed the purchase of 3,900 ordinary shares by its Director of Retail and Digital Businesses, Enterprise Retail, Tinuolu-Gabriel Oluremi.

The disclosure was contained in a notification of insider dealing filed with the Nigerian Exchange and signed by the Company Secretary, Leo Okafor.

According to the filing dated May 13, 2026, the shares were purchased at N18.40 per share on May 12, 2026.

The transaction involved an aggregate volume of 3,900 units of ordinary shares identified under ISIN code NGUCAP000004.

Based on the transaction price, the total value of the shares purchased amounted to N71,760.

The company classified the disclosure as an initial notification in line with insider dealing reporting requirements for listed companies.

The filing showed that the transaction took place in Nigeria.

Under Nigerian Exchange regulations, directors and other insiders of publicly listed companies are required to disclose share purchases and sales involving their companies to promote transparency in the capital market.
