Dangote Industries Limited is set to take center stage at the 2026 Nasarawa Trade Fair and Exhibition, where it will showcase its flagship Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemical Company alongside its broader industrialisation agenda under Vision 2030.

The trade fair, scheduled to be declared open on April 20, 2026, by Abdullahi Sule, is themed “Unlocking Industrial Synergy: Deepening the Value Chain and Driving Inclusive Growth in Nasarawa State.” Dangote Industries is the major sponsor of the event, underscoring its strategic interest in the state’s economic development.

In a statement issued Thursday, the company said it would use the platform to highlight its long-term Vision 2030 strategy, which is focused on accelerating innovation and advancing Africa’s industrialisation through large-scale investments and integrated value chains.

According to the company’s spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs) within the group will participate in the exhibition, presenting a wide range of products and services.

These include offerings from Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Salt and seasonings, Dangote SinoTruk, Dangote Packaging, and Dangote Fertiliser.

The Regional Director and Senior Adviser to the Group President, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, described Nasarawa State as a critical hub in the conglomerate’s African investment strategy. She noted that the state hosts the Dangote Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited, a project expected to rank among the largest sugar investments on the continent upon completion.

She added that the trade fair would provide a valuable interface for engagement with stakeholders, investors, and entrepreneurs interested in partnerships across Dangote’s diverse business portfolio. A dedicated Help Desk will also be available to manage inquiries and facilitate business interactions during the event.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI), Nasarawa State chapter, Nidan Sambo Manasseh, said the fair’s theme aligns with the industrial vision of Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group.

He emphasised that the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and large industrial players, fostering inclusive growth through structured value chains.

“This partnership is about connecting grassroots businesses to large-scale industries and creating sustainable economic linkages,” Manasseh said.

He further explained that the third edition of the Nasarawa State Trade Fair and Exhibition (NASTFE) goes beyond a conventional showcase, positioning itself as a platform for business development, industrial growth, and human capital advancement.

A key feature of the event is the Empowerment Skill Acquisition Programme (ESAP), a mobile training initiative targeting 2,000 beneficiaries across the state’s 13 local government areas between July and December.

The programme is designed to rotate across communities, ensuring widespread participation and skills development at the grassroots level.

Manasseh added that the broader objective is to align local enterprise development with large-scale industrial systems, reinforcing sustainable economic growth within the state and beyond.
