Breaking: Zenith Bank Posts ₦1.26tn FY2025 Profit, Declares ₦10 Dividend
Zenith Bank Plc has announced its audited financial results for the 2025 financial year, posting a pre-tax profit of ₦1.26 trillion, representing a 4.78 per cent decline from the previous year.
The bank’s performance was underpinned by strong revenue growth, as interest income rose sharply to ₦3.6 trillion, up from ₦2.7 trillion recorded in 2024.

Further analysis shows that loans and advances to customers were the largest contributor to earnings, generating ₦1.8 trillion, a 20.15 per cent increase, while treasury bills contributed ₦1.1 trillion.
In a move that will interest shareholders, the bank proposed a final dividend of ₦8.75 per share, up from ₦4.00 previously declared. This brings the total dividend for the 2025 financial year to ₦10.00 per share, including the ₦1.25 interim dividend already paid.
