NGX Group Names Jumoke Olaniyan Group Chief Strategy Officer
Nigerian Exchange Group Plc has announced the appointment of Jumoke Olaniyan as its Group Chief Strategy Officer, a move aimed at reinforcing its leadership team as it advances strategic growth plans.
According to the Group, the appointment supports its drive toward expansion, digital innovation, product development, and broader capital market advancement.
In her new capacity, Olaniyan will spearhead strategy formulation and execution across the enterprise, focusing on initiatives designed to deepen liquidity, expand product offerings, increase investor participation, and enhance long-term stakeholder value.

The position is also expected to improve alignment across business units as the Group continues strengthening its integrated market infrastructure model.
Before joining NGX Group, Olaniyan held senior positions at FMDQ Group Plc and FDHL Group, where she contributed to business development and product innovation across fixed income, currency, and derivatives markets. With over 20 years of experience spanning financial markets, banking, consulting, and corporate strategy, she brings extensive expertise in market development and organisational transformation.
She holds a degree in accounting and an MBA from INSEAD Business School. The Group said her appointment reflects its focus on strong governance, disciplined execution of strategy, sustainable value creation, and inclusive leadership at the executive level.
