Seplat Declares Final And Special Dividends For 2025

Seplat Energy has announced a combined dividend payout for the latest financial year, declaring a final dividend alongside a special distribution to shareholders.

The company said the final dividend will be paid together with an additional special payout, reflecting strong cash generation and improved financial performance during the period.

Shareholders on the company’s register by the stipulated qualification date will be eligible to receive the distributions, which will be paid later in the year once administrative processes are completed.

The firm disclosed that payments will be made either in naira or US dollars depending on shareholder status, with exchange rates to be determined based on prevailing market conditions at the time of settlement.

Management also confirmed that the company’s annual general meeting will be held shortly after the qualification date, where shareholders will review performance and corporate strategy.

The dividend announcement reinforces the company’s positioning as one of the stronger cash-return energy stocks in the Nigerian market, supported by disciplined capital management and stable production levels.
