OADC supports NDPC initiatives to boost data privacy

Open Access Data Centres (OADC) Lagos has reaffirmed its support for Nigeria’s data protection and data domiciliation policies through its participation in the National Privacy Week Summit organised by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). The summit convened policymakers, regulators, technology providers, and industry stakeholders to enhance awareness, strengthen compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, and promote responsible data governance.

OADC said its involvement aligns with the Federal Government’s drive for local data hosting, which is critical to safeguarding sensitive information, improving compliance, and fostering trust in digital services. The company operates a Tier III carrier-neutral data centre in Lekki, Lagos, enabling government and enterprise clients to host and manage data locally while meeting global standards for security, resilience, and uptime.
