BREAKING: Nigeria’s Oil Output Rises to 1.436m bpd in November, Still Below OPEC Quota
Nigeria’s crude oil production climbed to 1.436 million barrels per day (bpd) in November, marking a slight increase from October’s 1.401 million bpd. Despite the uptick, the country missed its OPEC quota for the fourth consecutive month, underscoring ongoing challenges in meeting international supply targets.
The OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) released December 11 confirmed the figures, noting that Nigeria last met its quota in July 2025. Analysts warn that continued shortfalls could impact foreign exchange earnings, though the gradual rebound signals potential recovery as refinery projects and upstream investments advance.
