Coronation Insurance Plc’s Q3 Results Signal Strategic Growth
Coronation Insurance Plc has published its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, revealing a profit after tax of ₦3.71 billion for the Group and ₦2.03 billion for the Company. This marks a significant recovery from the prior year, supported by strong insurance revenue and investment income.
Group insurance revenue rose to ₦51.18 billion, up from ₦34.16 billion in Q3 2024, while the Company recorded ₦33.89 billion, compared to ₦25.18 billion in the same period last year. Investment income also improved, with the Group earning ₦3.68 billion and the Company ₦1.01 billion.
Total assets for the Group increased to ₦103.1 billion from ₦76.8 billion at year-end 2024. Shareholders’ equity grew to ₦44.82 billion, reflecting retained earnings and other reserves. The Company’s total assets stood at ₦52.82 billion, with equity at ₦28.65 billion.
The Group’s insurance service result rebounded to ₦8.92 billion, compared to a loss of ₦485 million in Q3 2024. Net insurance and investment results reached ₦10.73 billion, while operating profit came in at ₦3.98 billion.
The financial statements were certified by Managing Director Olamide Olajolo and Chief Financial Officer Joshua Ojumoro, affirming the integrity of the disclosures and the effectiveness of internal controls.
