AXA Mansard Eyes ₦13.2 Billion Profit as Q4 Forecast Signals Stability

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has released its earnings forecast for the fourth quarter of 2025, projecting a steady financial performance despite market headwinds. According to the forecast submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Group, the company expects insurance revenue to reach ₦159.35 billion, while insurance service expenses and reinsurance costs are estimated at ₦96.99 billion and ₦43.09 billion respectively.
The insurance service result is projected at ₦19.27 billion, supported by net investment and other income of ₦18.96 billion. However, operating expenses are forecasted at ₦21.71 billion, leading to a profit before taxation of ₦15.51 billion. After accounting for a projected tax of ₦2.33 billion, AXA Mansard anticipates a profit after tax of ₦13.19 billion.
On the cash flow front, the company expects ₦13.51 billion from operating activities, while financing and investing activities are forecasted to result in outflows of ₦4.90 billion and ₦6.66 billion respectively. This would leave a net increase in cash and cash equivalents of ₦1.96 billion. The cash balance at the end of the period is projected to stand at ₦22.02 billion, up from ₦20.06 billion at the beginning of the quarter.
The forecast was signed off by Company Secretary Omowunmi Mabel Adewusi, reaffirming AXA Mansard’s commitment to transparency and proactive financial planning.
