Strong Demand for FGN Savings Bonds: August 2025 Allotment Figures Revealed
The Debt Management Office (DMO) of Nigeria has released the allotment results for the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Savings Bond issued in August 2025. The bond offer, which ran from August 4 to August 8, attracted strong investor interest across two tenors.

The two-year bond, maturing on August 13, 2027, was issued at a coupon rate of 14.401%. It garnered a total allotment of ₦573.312 million with 892 successful subscriptions. Meanwhile, the three-year bond, set to mature on August 13, 2028, offered a higher coupon rate of 15.401%. This longer-term instrument saw a significantly larger allotment of ₦2,743.086 million and attracted 1,274 successful subscriptions.
Both bonds will pay coupons quarterly, on February 13, May 13, August 13, and November 13, beginning from the settlement date of August 13, 2025.
