Cornerstone Insurance Plc Reshuffles Board with New Appointment

Cornerstone Insurance Plc has formally notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public of recent changes to its Board of Directors. In a statement dated August 29, 2025, the company confirmed the resignation of Mr. Emeka Anthony Ogbechie, who served as a Non-Executive Director. In response, the Board has appointed Mr. Ejakhaluse Zoe Omonkhogbe as a new Non-Executive Director. His appointment received approval from the National Insurance Commission on July 28, 2025, and will be ratified at the company’s next Annual General Meeting.

Mr. Omonkhogbe brings over two decades of experience in finance, private equity, real estate, and professional services. He currently serves as Executive Director at Capital Alliance Nigeria, overseeing finance and tax operations. His extensive boardroom experience spans multiple companies, where he contributes strategic financial and governance expertise.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education and earned his MBA as a Welch Scholar from the Jack Welch Management Institute. He is also a Chartered Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional, with executive education credentials from the London School of Business and Finance and the University of Oxford.
