IEI Plc Signals Acquisition Readiness with Proposed Capital Restructure
International Energy Insurance Plc has announced an emergency board meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:00 noon. The meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, with the company’s Victoria Island office at Plot 13/14 Ligali Ayorinde Street serving as the official venue for record purposes.
The primary agenda for the meeting is to deliberate on a proposal for loan-to-equity conversion and share reconstruction. This strategic move is expected to reshape the company’s capital structure and potentially strengthen its financial position amid evolving market conditions.
The notice was signed by Ranti Fajana on behalf of Detail Nominees, the company’s secretary. The board is chaired by Alhaji Bukar Goni Aji, OON, CFR, with Olasupo Sogelola serving as Managing Director. Other board members include Tony Edeh, Mohammed Mijindadi, Chamberlain S. Peterside Ph.D, Adeyinka Hassan Ph.D, and Oluwateniola Eleoramo.
