Lasaco Assurance Restructures and Rebrands Subsidiaries

Lasaco Assurance Plc has announced a major rebranding of its subsidiaries, Lasaco Properties Limited and Lasaco Trading and Investment Limited, as part of a broader strategy to enhance efficiency and strengthen overall group performance.

In a statement released on Sunday, the company confirmed the appointment of Mr. Akinwale Sofile as the new Managing Director of Lasaco Trading and Investment Limited. Sofile, a finance and investment professional and former Chief Financial Officer of Lasaco Assurance, brings extensive experience and leadership skills that the board believes will drive growth and profitability for the subsidiary.

According to the company, “The Board of Lasaco Assurance Plc has strong confidence in Mr. Sofile’s capability to lead LTIL, considering his financial expertise and demonstrated leadership within the group. With his background and exposure, the board expects him to deliver significant contributions to the subsidiary’s performance and by extension, to the overall group.”

Lasaco Properties Limited will continue under the leadership of Mr. Olumide Jayeola, an experienced executive with qualifications spanning project management, estate management, law, and theology.

The company explained that the rebranding process for both subsidiaries included refreshed corporate identity, service enhancements, streamlined processes, and the restructuring of their boards with new directors, all aimed at improving client service and stakeholder value.

Management expressed confidence that these changes would quickly translate into stronger financial results for the group. It also reaffirmed its commitment to providing innovative insurance, financial, and real estate solutions while positioning its subsidiaries for sustained growth and market leadership.
