FG Lists ₦4bn Savings Bonds on Nigerian Exchange

The Nigerian Exchange Limited has confirmed the listing of the June 2025 Federal Government of Nigeria Savings Bonds, with a total value of ₦4.01 billion across two offerings.

According to a market bulletin released on Wednesday, the first offering is the 16.121 percent FGS JUN 2027 bond, with a two-year maturity. It raised ₦875.06 million through 875,062 units. The bond has an issue date of June 11, 2025, and a maturity date of June 11, 2027. It is listed under the symbol code FGS202791 with the ISIN NGFGS2027913.

The second tranche is the 17.121 percent FGS JUN 2028 bond, a three-year instrument that attracted ₦3.13 billion, totaling 3,130,241 units. Its issue and maturity dates are June 11, 2025, and June 11, 2028, respectively. It trades under the symbol code FGS202892 with ISIN NGFGS2028929.

Both savings bonds will pay interest quarterly on September 11, December 11, March 11, and June 11 during their respective tenors.

This listing follows earlier bond issues by the Federal Government, part of ongoing efforts to promote savings culture and broaden retail investment in government securities.
