Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price by N15 Nationwide

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) across Nigeria, bringing the new rates to between N875 and N905 per litre, depending on the location.
This reduction, posted on the refinery’s official social media handle on Thursday, applies to all major fuel marketers partnering with Dangote Refinery, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.
Under the new pricing adjustment, Lagos residents will now pay N875 per litre, while prices in the South-West stand at N885. In the North-East, petrol will cost N905 per litre, while those in the North-West and Central regions will pay N895. Consumers in the South-South and South-East will also pay N905 per litre.
The company has encouraged Nigerians to buy petrol only from its authorized retailers and report any non-compliance to its hotline: +234 707 470 2099 or +234 707 470 2100.
This latest reduction follows a refund benefit policy offered to customers earlier in the week and comes amid increased petrol importation, with over 496 million litres brought into Nigeria within just nine days.
Dangote Refinery reaffirmed its commitment to price stability and affordability despite global crude oil price fluctuations, maintaining that its naira-for-crude deal has enabled consistent reductions in fuel costs.
