Nigeria Customs Service Opens Applications for 2025 Recruitment

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has opened applications for recruitment of officers into various positions in its Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant cadres.

This follows a recent announcement by the NCS that it had secured approval to recruit 3,927 officers in 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance trade facilitation and support the nation’s economic recovery.

Application period: December 27, 2024 – January 2, 2025 (one week).

This recruitment aligns with President Tinubu’s “A Budget of Restoration” aiming for N48 trillion expenditure and N35 trillion revenue. The NCS plays a crucial role in achieving this target, generating over N5 trillion by November 2024. This move reflects the administration’s focus on strengthening revenue-collecting agencies.
