The Federal Government has earmarked ₦334.54 billion for contributory pension payments across hundreds of federal agencies in the 2026 appropriation proposal submitted to the National Assembly.

The allocation covers pension contributions for more than 670 government entities, including ministries, departments, agencies, universities, teaching hospitals, and security formations.
