Data breaches remain a major concern, with 74% of financial institutions citing backend vulnerabilities as a key risk factor. These figures highlight the need for a shift in approach: rather than treating regulation as a final checkpoint, it must be embedded into the architecture of financial systems from the start.

Backend systems handle vast amounts of sensitive data. Personal information, transaction histories, and identity documents flow through APIs every second.
